Our annual pass is getting good use. It's lovely to spend a couple of hours in the quiet bush surrounds listening to the boys delight in seeing their favourite animals. Every time we go we see something new, like today the cockatoo talking back at us saying 'hello cocky'!
And getting to hold the guinea pigs, and seeing the snake and reptile enclosure which we had somehow missed the last times. Since we are talking about endangered animals at the moment the drive home held lots of discussion about what we can do to help and then the plans started on what they will draw when they get home. Getting out of the house sometimes-no most times, is just the best thing!
