Climbing the dunes...mother and son.

There is something so special about spending time alone with each of your children. This was one of those moments. We were camped at Double Island Point beside this huge dune and Sebastian had climbed it countless times, I don't exaggerate! So feeling up for it, I attempted to join him and find out why he liked to come up here, often by himself. After many stops and near faints from nausea, (I know, shockingly unfit I am!)I made it and I'll never forget and can still see it now, the breathtaking view was amazing, and worth every minute of pain climbing the thing! My proud son's face shone as he delighted in his mum making it and an unspoken understanding rose of why he liked it so much up here as we sat taking in our Fathers' handiwork.

Absolutely prescious. How mindful of you to take the time to see things from your boys world..and so worth it.
Glad you had a good time.

This is such a beautiful and inspirational post. The photos speak so much, as does your heart for Sebast... he is so blessed to have such an intentional and loving mama. Gorgeous, Kez. Thanks for the reminder to connect, to see things from their angle, to stop and do it their way for a minute. xoxo
