We had a lovely day at this Sanctuary, even bought the gold pass for a yearly visit as it is beautifully situated on the river and I can see us going for an afternoon or a for a picnic. I love the look of excitement on the boys faces when they discover another creature, and although we chose to look at animals for our homeschool I had no idea where their interests would take us. Our highlights were feeding the kangaroos, cuddling the koala, the peacock, the bird show where we saw majestic eagles and the little joey pictured. Also the free roaming water dragons were very interesting fellows. Will look forward to taking daddy back along with us.

Thanks mum, I remember it well too, especially cuddling the koala, the boys wanted to but got a little frightened so I got to cuddle it instead! I wonder if you still have that photo?
